Auto Manufacuter Rebate Programs 

Many automobile manufacturers offer financial programs that provide rebates for the installation of equipment for individuals with certain disabilities.  Rebates are available for any new purchased or leased vehicle that is adapted for disability.  These programs vary by manufacturer.  Most lifts and carriers are eligible for reimbursement under the terms of these programs.

Fiat Chrysler-Jeep

Under the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Driveability Program, FCA offers up to $1,000 rebates for all Chrysler (excluding Pacifica Hybrid), Dodge, Jeep, Ram or FIAT models. They also offer up to $400 in reimbursement for running boards on select vehicles, and up to $200 for alerting devices.

Ford

The Ford Accessibility Program/Ford Mobility Motoring Program offers a variety of adaptable vehicles with up to $1,000 in reimbursements on adaptive equipment. They also feature up to $200 for alert hearing devices, running boards, and lumbar support.

General Motors

All new Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and GMC vehicles may qualify for up to $1,000 in mobility    reimbursement, if mobility-related equipment is permanently installed for a driver (or passenger). In addition, GM also gives two years of the OnStar Safety plan and Remote Access plans.

Volkswagen

The Volkswagen Mobility Discount provides up to $1,000 towards the purchase and installation of various adaptive equipment, to include lifts, hand controls, pedal extensions, and other eligible equipment. They recommend contacting your local dealership for exact details on how to apply.

Honda

The Honda Customer Mobility Assistance Program provides up to $1,000 in reimbursements to customers buying and installing adaptive equipment on new Honda vehicles bought or leased from a licensed Honda US dealership. 

Toyota

Toyota’s program gives customers a reimbursement of up to $1,000 for any adaptive equipment installed on one of their bought or leased new vehicles. It also applies to Toyota Factory Installed Auto Access Seats, for which they rebate the full $1000.

Lexus

Lexus Mobility Assistance offers up to $1,000 for buyers of a new Lexus vehicle to offset the costs of buying and installing certain mobility equipment.

Honda

When purchasing or leasing a new or Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) BMW from an authorized BMW Center, customers who require mobility modifications may qualify for a one-time adaptive equipment reimbursement of up to $2,500.
